Citywide PhD Conference to be held at La Trobe Asia, Bundoora Campus, Tuesday 16 April 2019.

Conference Title: South Asia: past, present and future—your research

An interdisciplinary conference for PhD, MPhils and ECRs working on topics related to South Asia including the diaspora.

The Conference is intended to bring together students from Melbourne and beyond to share their interest in the region and highlight their work to an audience of knowledgeable peers. It is also an opportunity to share, pause and reflect on your research contribution through new networks.

We welcome submissions in virtually all areas of research on South Asia from MPhils, PhDs and ECRs. Each presentation will be limited to 10 minutes maximum.

Abstract of 100 words

The conference is presented by Melbourne South Asian Studies Group, University of Melbourne, and  sponsored by La Trobe University, and the Australia India Institute.
